Does anyone know where Obama was yesterday morning 09/11?

LE, no offense but you do have great bias against Obama and all he stands for which includes the very nature of this thread. I think Roger said it best when he said, "who cares" because this was not a moment in America for them. It was about the families and friends of those lost that day.

The truth is the Mayor of NY asked both the candidates not to be at that ground zero ceremony because he wanted it to remain a memorial service for the families and not a political photo op for the candidates. As you know, they each come with a lot of secret service which means security gates etc...

They were both invited to the service at the pentagon but neither wanted to be seen with Bush. As for McCain being at Shanksville PA, it was the same as him visiting that Emergency center in MS during Gustav in my view. The Emergency center should have remained focused on the pending storm, the people they were responsible to watch over and not made into a photo op just like the service in Shanksville should have remained centered on the families and not a candidate. (my $00.02).

In this aspect I agree with the republican philosophy, there is a time for the government to be invisible. I think memorial services are one of those times unless they were directly involved like Guilliani or even Hillary Clinton.

No offense taken. I am biased toward Obama and detest most of what he stands for, and make no apology for my beliefs and opinions of the man, whom I believe would devastate this nation should he be elected POTUS.

Okay, that makes sense. Thank you for your reasoned response and answer to this question. That seems entirely likely and the tone of your response is appreciated. :flower:
