The bible says that in the end everything which can be shaken will be shaken.
Does this mean that God also tests the christians if they are the real deal and if they don't pass the test then they'll go to hell?
Is God sitting up there testing everybody and either you're able to withstand the end time deceptions or you're not and then you go to hell.
One pastor said this in a sermon. That God will shake everything to see who is real and who isn't. But this sounds as if those deceptions are not only for the unbelievers which don't want God anyway but also for the christians in order to sort them out. :(

God already knows who's real and who isn't. He doesn't have to test them.

But if he already knows it then why does he send strong delusions which would even deceive the elect?
And if even the elect would be deceived then doesn't this mean that there is nobody who has a faith which overcomes everything, which is totaly invulnerable?

Where does it say that He sends a strong delusion that would even decieve the elect? "Strong delusion" oly appears in 2 Thess 2:11, and it does not concern the elect.

I'm sorry, but I just watched that dance video and then I saw the title "Does God Really Shake..." and all I could think of to myself was, "No, He gently swirls everything..."

    Sorry...on with the discussion.

something just struck me as funny...

We had two threads, back-to-back. Here's how they read:

    -Does God deliberately shake everything?
    -The evolution of dance.

    :applause:

OK, maybe it's just me... :wavey:

Why speculate - ? Just read it.

    Exodus 16:4
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether or not they will walk in My instruction.

    Judges 2:22
in order to test Israel by them, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk in it as their fathers did, or not."

    Judges 3:1
    [ Idolatry Leads to Servitude ] Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to test Israel by them (that is, all who had not experienced any of the wars of Canaan;

    Psalm 11:4
The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD'S throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.

    Psalm 26:2
Examine me, O LORD, and try me; Test my mind and my heart.

    Deut 8:2
2And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

xdx, you need to rightly divide those scriptures in the OT and NT that were written to Jews. You can get some great insights into that at the link I previously gave you. Or will you simply ignore it, like you ignore so much else that people try to do to help you? Have you even started on the study of Mark, and then from Acts 9 onward? Or will you just turn on the TV or internet to find some preacher who scares the living daylights out of you? You were bought with a price, xdx. Lean not to your own understanding, but in ALL your ways acknowledge HIM. If that includes taking a simple pill to calm you down, then so be it. Take the pill! You need help, big time. With your language skills and education you could be healthy, wealthy, and wise if you'd just LISTEN once in a while.

Second chance to do something constructive. Don't challenge it, just go with it:
