A vote for RINO is not a vote for better, it is a vote for the same. We need a conservative who cares about the American people, not some liberal RINO who only cares about big business. It would be better to vote the party out of existence than to keep voting for RINOs.

This. I voted for W twice, but then in 2008 and 2012 I voted for Ron Paul (as a write-in). I couldn't stomach McCain and didn't trust Romney.

I had a glimmer of hope with the mid-terms that perhaps things were turning in favor of conservatives, but that glimmer has quickly dwindled the past few weeks while looking for Mcconnell's and Boehner's "leadership".

No way I'm voting for someone like Jeb or Christie if either (or another RINO) becomes the nominee. If the GOP continues to nominate candidates like these, and continue to cave in on social issues, then it deserves to be consigned to irrelevancy.

Oh they be splintered. There is a remnant. And when you can come out the gate, as they did in 2008 and 2012, with candidates who don't excite or pull in that remnant, they don't have a chance at winning the White House.

It's quaint that you're trying to stay positive. But the GOP is splintered and a sinking ship when it comes to the White House.

A Democrat executive branch balanced with a Republican legislative branch is not a terrible thing to have. Maybe some 'gridlock', but who cares about that?

At this stage of history, it's always good to not have one party running both the legislative and executive branches.

I wouldn't trust either party to run loose, unencumbered by the other even though I suspect they work together towards the same things more than they want the public to know.

Gridlock is a good thing. The less "accomplished", the better.

I do not believe that is the case any more.

Faux-cohontas is now the face of the Democrat party. Hillary is out. She's been covering for team zero's state-department while Lie-awatha has been working the base to a frothy envy.

I am not sure which fares worse, Clinton (for not being better-known) or Florida International University (their product).

I will abstain from commenting about the interviewees...

and you do that by getting involved with your local political party - attend the meetings, become a committee member; that way you can actually vote as to who the party will endorse.....

and what is wrong with big business? Sure there are bad examples, but big business does help the country as well. - We do need small business, med business and big business - all working together.

Also someone mentioned that there should be no more Bushes - that is too broad of a statement. I consider each candidate on his own merit. This is not an endorsement of Jeb Bush.

Keep in mind, that the Presidential race will start heating up right after the first of the year. A candidate needs a lot of money - and it takes time.

In addition - the first Caucus is in Iowa - 18 Jan, and the first Primary is NH p 26 Jan - but remember, you have to start several months early -1) to raise voter support 2) paperwork to be eligible to be on the ballot.
