Does Submission Equal Obedience?

    of course not....it maybe the soft option of say not losing your job..........or not making an argument go ballistic............

    interesting thought...

    "Submit" and "obey" are two different Greek words in the NT.

    I always viewed submission in this allegorical way:

    If I call the front desk at a hotel and ask for a wake up call, when they call and tell me it's time to get up the next morning, I "obey" in a sense. I am only responding to their authority to tell me it's time to get up because I initiated the process willingly.
