How important is prayer in your church? We are told to "Pray without ceasing" because the need for a church to lead the way on their knees is important if we are going to serve not only God but one another. I found this link and felt it had some great ideas on how to develop and maintain a strong and active prayer team in the church! http://www.barnabasnetwork.com/prayer_teams Does your church still have the old Prayer Chains? The telephone list of members who can get prayers going for an emergency need within the church? Where one member calls another, and soon there are twenty to thirty people agreeing together for the need of another? http://www.harvest.org/church/ministries/emergency-prayer-chain.html Do you have a group that comes up to the front to pray with those who come up for prayers of healing, or to give his or her life to Jesus? I was interested in how important prayer still is in your church, and what programs you have in place to make sure that the church is there whenever and wherever a need may arise .... to see that, your church is staying focused around the need to pray without ceasing!
