Yes. We have a community service once a month followed by a fellowship meal.

We work together in areas of mutual interest/concern.

We are very much involved in homeless ministry through the Presbyterian Night Shelter in Fort Worth.

    Yes.
We have a weekly prayer meeting open to all area clergy. It is attended by about a dozen pastors from non-liturgical churches.
We partner together in a large food bank sponsored by the churches. It works out that each church covers one week every three months.
We partner together, and with some corporate sponsors, to provide a free 2 day Christian concert. In the past we have had the Newsboys, Jeremy Camp, and Casting Crowns as headline acts. There are usually about 6 bands performing over the 2 days.
We have a church in the park event, usually the Sunday of the weekend of the free concerts. A praise team from a local church will lead the music and another church will cover the preaching.
Several years ago we had a city-wide baptism service in the river.
We also cover nightly preaching at the local rescue mission. My last church covered the 3rd Tuesday of every month.

Have you found that working together doing the work of the Church/Kingdom as commanded by the Lord makes it harder to stay seperated due to our "doctrinal distinctives?"

Yes. We participate in community services throughout the year but especially at Easter and Thanksgiving. (ha, including the litugical Episcopalians) Occassionally we'll join with one or more other churches for community singings/concerts. We help another church with its soup kitchen (actually several churches help with this ministry that is led by another church). We do Upwards basketball and members of other churches help us.

Ummm, then there is the city wide ministerial association that is a benevolent fund of sorts that provides emergency funds for those in need. this was started to solve the problem of "church hoppers" who would bleed one church of money as far as they could and then move on to the next one. I'm not sure why the county churches aren't a part of this, they may have their own program.

And no, it doesn't seem we have any problem being Baptists and letting the other denoms be themselves in these efforts.
