If so, do you bring in children and their parents or is it a ministry that services the elderly and those without transportation?

My pastor won't even discuss the possibility of the church buying a van, much less a bus (or busses). His arguement is that the insurance would be too high. Never mind that we have to rent/charter a bus (orbusses) everytime we take people anywhere.

Goodness, we are a small church and we have a great bus ministry. We bring in older folks, kiddos, anyone who'll get on board!

When I was a kid there was a bus that picked me up and took me to church and dropped me off. I must have been really young because all I remember about it. I think it's a great idea as there are many children who would like to go to church who have parents that can't, or won't, take them.
