Is there a place on the web where you can download Microsoft Powerpoint for free? I would like to use it for personal bible study, among other things.

Nothing legal. Microsoft.com probably has a trial version if you want to try it.

I think Open Office (which is free) has a powerpoint-ish program. Might want to check them out at openoffice.org.

I had forgotten about openoffice. Their "presenter" program does well. The only drawback was when you do a lot of transistions on an older computer it tends to choke up. They may have fixed that by now, that was year or two ago.
