From Liberty University office of Alumni Affairs

Dr. Hindson had open heart surgery on Monday, February 25th. The surgery went well, but while in the hospital he contracted a staph infection in his blood. Dr. Hindson has been on dialysis for a few hours each day in an attempt to try and rid his body of the toxins.

Please pray for God to heal Dr. Hindson's body as well as for strength for the family. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

    Thank you and God Bless,
    Liberty University

A report in today's convocation is that he is stable but remains critical.

Ed Hindson is very dear to my heart. I believe his teaching to truly be inspired by the Holy Spirit. Here's a man who clearly teaches the message of the Bible. Some would call him an easy believeism person but I would call him a preacher with few equals.

    Dr. Hindson Not Doing Good

Dr. Ed Hindson (Linda's dad): As many of you know, Dr. Hindson had heart quintuple (5) bypass surgery on February 25 and developed a staff infection.
As of 3/25/08: On-going fever has been a problem. Found bacteria in lungs. Treating like pneumonia with strong meds. Continues to move in the right direction, but still very sick, very weak. Visiting strongly discouraged, prayers strongly encouraged. -SOURCE

Does anyone have an update on Dr. Hindson. Many of us "said a little prayer for him" and I, for one, would like to know how he fares?:praying: :godisgood:

    Please advise.

Yes, we are. No updates have been posted since 4/21. I suppose no news is good news? Let's hope so.

The letter I got said that he is successfully fighting the infections and gaining his strength.

I pray and hope that is correct.
