Was watching Dr Phil today -
Sad story - young daughter of divorced parents.
she was molested by her father during his "visitation" time.

I think the mom said she suspected something, but had nothing solid to go on.

After all this Dr. Phil said it would be better to investigate a person one thousand times, than to let one case go undetected.

So the question is: to what extreme do we go in proving someone guilty?

Does one thousand investigations seem extreme?

The question is how do you investigate?

Honestly, I know parents who have done terrible things on visitation and even on investigating, there wasn't enough evidence to do anything. So now the mother (usually the mother who has custody) has to send their child to the disgusting parent fully knowing that something could very well happen to them but the courts have ordered it and should she decide to not allow it, she'll go to jail and the child will go to foster care - or worse, to the offending parent.

    It's disgusting.
