Dr. Tony Evans

I listened to him at 8:30 PM on the radio last night. He followed David Jeremiah, who was on a 8:00. I listen to both occassionally; however, the station they are on (WRBS 95.1 Baltimore) is not really to my liking. I have never heard Dr. Evans say anything that I disagreed with. Mostly, I listen to preaching tapes/CDs, old-fashion christian music tapes/CDs', and WCBM 680 AM out of Baltimore (Conservative Talk Radio) while driving.

 

In my area they do little inserts 2 or 3 min.ever thing Ive heard him say sounds good. I have seen him a couple of times early morinings talking with teens.

 

I used to put Nick in the car every afternoon and drive around town so I could listen to his sermons. Nick got to where he'd yell out, 'You preach it, Tony!'

I like Dr. Tony Evans. Haven't gotten to hear him for a couple of years but never heard him preach anything I disagreed with.

 

Tony Evans is one of my favorites!! I have heard him preach several messages and never heard anything "objectionable." Also, my preaching professor at Midwestern used him as an example of a sound preacher in a couple of our classes, and he does not just support everyone. I do not think you can go wrong listening to him.

 

tony evans is a dallas theological seminary grad.
He wrote a few books and hasnt written anything that I would disagree with. He wrote one about racism and was supportive of Bush instead of Kerry, while many black preachers supported Kerry.
Seems to be a good man.

 

Tony Evans is a fine pastor-theologian. He is the first African-American to get an earned doctorate from DTS. His scholarship is just as conservative as one would expect from a DTS grad. I enjoy listening to him preach and have always found him insightful and edifying.

 

I know when I was out of church he was about the only preacher I WOULD listen to! God used him in a good way in my life, and I have listened to him for years. Know of many who have come to the Lord through his ministry.

 

I enjoy listening to him when I get a chance. however this is rare.

 

I like him .But boy does he talk loud .

 

At firts when I heard him I was turned off by the yelling.But when I started listening I enjoying him alot.My favorite Tony Evans quote"We are sent to take sides.We are sent to take over!"

 

I've been listening to "The Tone Man" for years now!! He is one Preachin' Machine!!!
