By your reasoning, when we read:
we have no right (or duty) to try and understand what "sanctify the Lord God in your hearts" means or compels us to do! Do you really think it is an "unreasonable questioning" of God to try an understand what he Bible is trying to teach?

Maybe you don't care to learn, but a lot of us do. ;)

OldTimer said "Actually the person guilty of blasphemy is the person who questions God's word."

So why do you accept a translation from blasphemers? Why didn't the KJV translators simply accept the preserved Bible they already had, instead of "correcting" and replacing it?

The Hebrew words referrs to sea creatures that are distinct from fish and whales (which have separate words in Hebrew). Eels are a good example, though not the only example. Those who claim that the word referrs to either mythical creatures or dinosaurs don't have any scriptural or entymological support for their claims.

Not really. Entymologically speaking, the Hebrew words translated dragon, leviathan, and behemoth were and are words that refer to contemporary creatures. If the dragon, leviathan, and behemoth of scripture are indeed contemporary animals, it neither refutes nor bolsters either a YEC or OEC position.

Oops, I meant to say "etymological" (the study of language), not "entomological" (the study of insects).

I need to lay off the Starbucks!!!
