Its a shame that Jaigner is correct.

I am a taxi driver, and I do transport many Medicaid passengers. I have thought about this quite a bit since I saw the OP.

I agree with Tiny Tim. I may not change her mind on the spot, but if I show love and compassion then the next time I pick her up, she may need someone to talk to. (Keep in mind, after the abortion, Planned Parenthood usually doesn't give a hoot as long as they have their $$$)

Today, I picked up a Medicaid - While getting into the car, she was cussing at her 6 year old son. Sure I could have told her to watch her language - but I didn't. We began what to be, a 30 minute ride to her doctor. I found out that she hasn't been to church in years, but has thought about starting. There is a SBC just several blocks from her house. I gave her the name and phone # of the pastor.
For whatever reason, I picked her up for the return trip. She told me that the JW's would be starting a Bible Study with her next week.
I explained they do not believe that Jesus is God, and they do not believe in Hell. She was very thankful for that info. Please pray for her.
Had I demanded she stop cussing in front of me, I doubt we would have gotten to spiritual things.

So yes, I would have taken the women in question to her requested destination. I would also ask her if she would like for me to pray for her as well.

PS - If I didn't take her, someone else would.
PPS, here in Syracuse, PP is literally right next door to a Right-to-Life center!

How disgusting. Those things do not even compare! You mean you would actually drive someone somewhere, knowing that they were about to murder a little boy or little girl? What is wrong with you? How could you not try and stop the murder of a child??!

I am sorry. That is just sick.

Why? Cause I'm some bad guy? Strange.

You are correct with your comments, though.

If you were a taxi driver, how close to Planned Parenthood would you take customers to? Would you quiz them on where they were doing and what they planned to do? Would you require a sworn statement from them concerning their intentions?

What about the police or fire departments. Should they refuse to do their jobs within a block of an abortion clinic. Should the firefighter allow the building to burn? Should he go inside to rescue people or let them burn.

Would you refuse to work for the power company since this clinic purchases power?

Would you sell food to the man who rented the space to them?

Would you refuse to preach the gospel to them or would you use the opportunity to inform them of the sinfulness of their choice and tell them of God's grace?

It is easy to sit back and pass judgment as long as you aren't involved, isn't it?

There is a difference in doing some of the above actions and approving of abortion.

No, I don't think it's ok to work for a company that sells porn, but most cable companies have porn channels, and part of my job description in general is to actvate that channel if paid for. The cable company sells the porn. If the customer has no option to use his cable box, then he calls the cable company, and the phone system routs the call to the agent, and since you claim to have worked the phones you know that. If I get the call, I am bound and under obligation by virtue of my job description to activate that channel.

And I would do the same, to an irate customer who couldn't seem to separate fact from fiction, and think you are the cause of his misery and is use the "f" and "motherf" words to express his anger. But I'm not talking of an irate customer. I'm talking about the tipsy, happy, congenial, talkative customer who carries on a conversation with you over the phone while you're doing for him what he called for. Sad to say this, but reacting your way will turn that call into a supervisor call, and you lose when that happens, because the caller wasn't cussing you out. Just his way of talking, which offends your Christian sensibilities, which means crap to most companies.

No disagreement there. He felt bold enough to do it, then he can ask Jesus where his crown in his stars are for that act. Hopefully, the monetary settlement he is now fighting for is still a matter of principle and not of greed and doesn't cancel out his "reward".

You have no clue what your talking about. First the term abortionist is used to describe those who perform abortions and for those who support abortion. Second he has made it clear that he supports abortion in previous posts long before you came to the board. So if the truth matters to you then you need to know it to begin with.

He just said he doesn't support abortion. That sounds pretty clear to me.

If you work as a doctor at an abortion clinic, then you are bound and under obligation to perform abortions. Would you do that as well? If a job requires you to do something that puts you in sin, don't work at that job. It is really simple.

In the phone jobs I've worked, my bosses would have no problem with me terminating a call with someone that utilized profanity in the conversation. Again, you have a choice where you work.

I agree, I don't like the fact that he is suing. There is no reason for it. His job required that he perform a function that he felt he shouldn't perform. He just needs to find a new job and get over it.

So, you'd call the cops when someone wants to murder your wife, yet drive someone to the place to have their child murdered? I guess you feel your wife's life is more valuable than a child's life?

I am responsible for what I know. If someone wanted me to drive them to planned parenthood, I would refuse. Regardless how you spin it, there is no excuse for facilitating the murder of a little kid. However you would respond to someone who got in your car, and said "take me here; I am going to murder my 6 year old", is hoow you should respond to this situation (minus calling the cops). I for one, might drop them off at a Christian family clinic, instead. When they protest, I would tell them the ride was free.

No. They should protect lives; even the lives of the murderers.

For myself: rescue the people, let the building burn.

This is silly, and really does not deserve response. A person working for the electric company is facilitating many more saved lives.

Again, silly. You are not directly facilitating the murder. Is it o.k. to sell a murderer a cheeseburger? Yes. Is it o.k. to knowingly drive them to their victims house? Of course not. Common sense.

I would preach the gospel, and NOT facilitate the murder of a child. You can do one, without the other. You do not have to kill children to preach the gospel.

How sick is it, that squishy ethics and postmodern epistemology has infiltrated the Christian world to such a degree, that someone would call it "passing judgment" to stop the murder of a child?

Driving a person to murder a child is sick. There is no way to argue around that.

I was terminated from a job because my employer wanted me to cheat a customer and I refused. I did collect unemployment when the person on the phone told me that the employer claimed I was incompetent. When I told the lady that I would be happy to make a court case of it that is when she backed down and gave me unemployment.

    Bold is mine for emphasis.

Rev. again that is a totally false statement. I have always said that I am against abortion. To continue to repeat false statements is a sin.

Again, I will accept an apology. Please try to be honest in the future.

No one on this board who voted for Obama can possibly say that they are "against abortion".

You voted for the guy who promised to increase abortion.

You voted for the guy who uses Federal tax dollars to pay for overseas abortions.

You voted for the guy who pushed for a Federal tax dollar funded health care plan that will now fund abortions.

Please don't insult our intelligence by telling us that you are "against abortion" after having aided and abetted it.

Well, I guess 53% of the country is pro-abortion. That is the percentage President Obama received in the 2008 election.

The problem is both you and I know that this isn't the case, but you won't let that interfere with an opportunity to lie about a fellow poster.

Actually more than 53% are pro-abortion. There are those that did not vote for Obama and support abortion as well.

Is there any difference between the Bush administration and any others in regards to abortion since abortion was instituted?
