Had to check that out on other news - despite how often we read these things, it's still hard to swallow that it continues to happen.

What people don't think of when they don't want to get involved in this stuff and stop it from happening is where the money won in the lawsuits comes from.

If we want protection and want the officers to have enough money for enough officers and what it takes to run, we can't be paying out millions for lawsuits because nobody wanted to get the crummy officers off the streets. We can't ignore these things. It's costing us money and security. Us personally, not some random people we've never seen,in places we've never been. Here. Now. Your city. Your state. Your money. Care about them all!
