On another thread, Ed asked about this fellow. here is some info and a one-page link

This character is at the heart of many tragic and false teaching - a Christian astrology; a British-Israelism; a hyper-dispensational view (eliminating much of the NT for believers today); faulty views of depravity and sin/salvation.

His followers (like Bob Enyart in Denver) have started an entire sect/movement

As a former astrologer, I've had to deal with the "gospel in the stars" thing made popular by Bullinger. :( One of the first books I picked up at a bookstore when I was a new Christian (we're talking days here) was a book on the Gospel in the Stars. I looked through it and found it very strange. It hit me all wrong. Since then, I've had to research it in order to respond. Chuck Missler teaches this also.

Here are some good articles refuting the GIS:

Several years ago a friend gave me a large ion Bible which is very old. the intr page has a PASTED IN paragraph attributing the many footnotes to E W Bullinger.

I thought that this was an early dispensationalist from Darby's time. I have been unable to get a good biography about him. Any suggestions?

I believe that the article linked to by Dr. Bob Griffin is a bit overly critical (especially in the choice of some words), but I agree with most of it.
