Last month was the hottest June ever recorded, according to both NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This marks the 14th month in a row that global heat records have been broken. It’s the longest streak of record-breaking temperatures since reporting began in 1880.

Global average temperatures in June were 0.9 degrees Celsius hotter than the average for the 20th century. These temps broke the previous record, set last year, by 0.02 degrees Celsius.

The planet is well on track to surpass 2015 as the hottest year ever recorded.

“2016 has really blown that out of the water,” said Gavin Schmidt, director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, per NPR.

As dubious as it is to be talking about records going back to 1880, let alone comparing current temperatures to temperatures over the past thousands of years, the neoconservative mantra that there isn't any global warming seems to be fading in popularity.

With recorded data of only 136+- years, it is a stretch to extrapolate anything definitive as to global warming. What we do know, from written history, is that the planet has warmed and cooled numerous times. That we in this hemisphere seem to be in a warm cycle is not debatable. But the agenda driven by the globalists to lay this at the feet of mankind is ridiculous. Besides, the earth belongs to God, and we know we will have a new one, soon please Lord, and all of this will be moot. Those who do not believe in God, or do not believe Scripture are the ones worrying about survival of the planet. They would be better served to worry about the survival of their Soul.

    1) As noted above, 'ever recorded' is a blink of the eye in human history.

    2) New records are on the order of tenths or hundredths of a degree.

    3) Here is how old records fall and new ones are made, by "adjusting' temperature records by the good ol' boys at NASA/GISS:
