Braums egg nog is fantastic. Probably depends upon which kind of alcohol Tom.

"Boiled" Custard is tastier than Egg-nog. Without needing any added "nog"!

Eggnog is a drink made of eggs, milk or cream and sugar.

Some people add alchohol to it, but surely not any of us Baptists.

Homemade eggnog is the best! It is not hard to make and one glass or a punch bowl full may be made at a time.

My mother used to make it for me when I was young, because 'way back then', it was hard to find in the stores and very expensive.

I love it, but it is so rich that I don't drink very much at a time and usually only at Christmas and New Year's.

It is very rich. I have to be in the right mood for it, but it is good. Alcohol actually ruins the taste.

    love,

I love eggnog. Boiled custard is just as good, if not better.

Publix eggnog is very good, but the best is Southern Comfort eggnog (without the Southern Comfort). I agree -- alcohol can ruin a good eggnog.

I absolutely love eggnog!!! and yes, alcohol ruins the taste!

    Yuck!

It is hard to keep in the house.. I buy a 1/2 gallon, and it is gone in seconds when I get it home.. .me and all the boys love it.. Wifey hates it...

I have made homemade before, but I like the store bought stuff just as good...

It is rich, and fattening though...

It's funny...there's alway one person in a family that loves it, and another that hates it. Kind of like Neil Diamond :D

My mother used to caution me when eating raw cookie dough that I could get Sal monilla ( or however U spell that stuff); then, at Christmas, she would get eggnog!

Of course, I had an uncle that told me that alchahol-spiked eggnog was the best without the eggnog.

I bet if we weren't in the fellowship part of the board, there would be some that would say that drinking non-alcoholic eggnog is still a sin because it gives the appearance of drinking alcohol...

If anyone is brave enough, maybe they can start a thread in the debate section....

Around here, we can get it year round.. if you know which store has it..

Has anyone tried the powdered mix, you mix in regular milk? It is not bad.

I'm amazed that there are people that have never tried eggnog. I like it, but haven't bought any yet this year.

I've been looking for eggnog Ice cream too, none of the local grocery stores have it though I've seen it in years past. My 88-year old father was saying he would like some and since he doesn't drive anymore I am hoping to find some for him.

Powdered eggnog? Never heard of it. I once had some eggnog flavored salt water taffy though.
