Electronic Armageddon?

I remember reading about this potential problem 20 or more years ago. A high atmospheric nuclear explosion can cause a lot of harm also.

 

We are way too dependent on the grid, and on computers. While I enjoy my air conditioning and internet service, I think we should all learn some of the methods our ancestors used before they had electricity, electronic banking, and computerized cars.

Do y'all realize that if the electric doesn't work, most times you can't pump gas, or use a credit or debit card? Just something to think about.

 

Wow, electronic armageddon, what an idea!! I am going to patent that into the latest video game and make a million.

In the opening scene, one must first elect the Anti-Christ. (a repeat of the 2008 election)

I hope to get this into mass production before the Rapture.

 

There was a sifi story about a space alien invasion which began with the aliens blowing out all our transistorized communications facilities. We responded by building vacuum tube transmitters and receivers.
