Featured Emails reveal hillary clinton fed ‘meet the press’ questions in advance

My impression of her intent with that response was something like, "They are dead, tragically; we can't undo that. So what difference does it make how the incident happened?" Kind of an evasive "let's move on" type of statement, to me. IIRC, one following reply to her had the sense of, "So we can better avoid such things in the future." But I guess that's only important to some people, because it implies that things weren't done very well this time.

 

So we all agree she was fed information about what some, perhaps not all, of the questions she would be asked ?

I think ITL's admonishment is correct, perhaps a little harsh with the false witness thingy.

But to say Hillary "handled" Benghazi ?

Nope.

 

If you remember the run up to her appearance before the committee she had been ill, I think hospitalized, and the talking heads on Fox News were saying she's deliberately faking being sick to avoid going before the committee. Fox had been building up this committee hearing as the Republicans finally taking Hillary to the woodshed. When it was all over, she had emerged with hardly a scratch.

I don't share that opinion of the outcome. She was really sick at the time, but she was well enough to send out Susan Rice to lie about the incident as her spokesperson. The then stonewalled, and finally asked her famous question. She was ridiculous. Unprofessional, dishonest. I'd bet you Joe Biden has the highlights on his upcoming campaign reels.

 

I agree with all of this. However, she came away from the hearing politically unharmed.
