    Yea brain dead people look around the room and respond to outside stimulation. The only people brain dead were the people that killed her.

    That was a very difficult case for everyone involved, dragonfly. Don't you find it interesting, though, that there are conservatives who decry the very idea of government getting involved in medical decisions who wanted exactly that - government involvement in a medical decision - in that case?

    It was a matter of protecting an innocent life. That is very consistent with conservative principles.
