EPA Global Warming Regulations Could Send Economy Back Into Recession, Report Says

    Monday, March 21, 2011
    By Matt Cover

(CNSNews.com) – Regulation of greenhouse gasses by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) could reverse the very modest economic recovery and even send it back into a recession, a report from the National Center for Public Policy Research finds.

“These regulations,” author Dana Joel Gattuso wrote, “will have a more severe impact on energy costs, U.S. jobs, household income, and economic growth than cap-and-trade legislation would have had. Furthermore, the regulations could reverse the economy's direction toward recovery and push us back into an economic slump.”

“It's time that the EPA realizes it cannot regulate what has not been legislated. Our government was designed so that elected representatives are in charge of making important decisions, not bureaucrats,” Manchin said in a statement March 4.

“The simple fact is that the EPA is trying to seize more power than it should have, and must be stopped,” he added.

 I get it, Bill. You don't like the source.

But you are conveniently ignoring the dozens of others that draw the same conclusion, including a Commerce Department report the EPA is trying desperately to suppress.

Even the EPA admits the cost to consumers will be $11 billion a year, even ignoring the projected job losses. Multiplying that by 3 will get closer to the actual number, as usual with Obama Administration cost projections.

Nice economic tiimes to burden the nation with more lost jobs and increased living expenses , isn't it?

And you don't like the source? You don't think increased energy costs will adversely affect the economy?

It looks to me as if you just don't want to face the facts, regardless of the source.

Not to mention the fact that "global warming science" was nothing but a fraud from the begining. The globalists just don't seem to get that we've seen through their global taxation plan and rejected it.

This is one of the gobalist's dominant social themes they don't want to give up on even though we all know it's just another one of their scams to steal our wealth.

We won't need the EPA regulations to send us back into recession. Energy prices are going to do that on their own.

Just watch our economy collapse with $4.50-$5 gas nationwide.

And the price of food will follow it upward.

Then , you can call it piling on. The EPA regs will increase the cost of energy as well. That is what they are intended to do.

Obama is following orders from the same people whom Bush took his orders.

Anyway, climate change predictions for the Pacific NW seem to match reality.
