I went to high school in Germany. I want to go to Scotland, Wales and England.

Take me with you, Rev. G.

A tour of the cathedrals would be awesome.

LOL, I saw the title and thought "Carrie".
Germany is the LAST place I'd want to visit!
Ok, so I'm mostly basing that on my experience with a can of German potato salad (BLECH!), but I also don't really get into travelling.
Did you like it much there? Why or why not?

I absolutely loved living in Germany. I was there in the '80s, so it was still West Germany and East Germany. It is a beautiful land. The people were actually very friendly (except for the handfuls of political activists). I love German food (canned potato salad doesn't count :D ). So, I had a very positive experience.

rsr - maybe we can find a "cathedral tour"!

I had absolutely no idea what this meant until after my last post was posted. Then I remembered the 80s band with the one hit. Spandex anyone? [IMG]

Was born in England in 1964, outside of London. At the time my dad was stationed in High Wycombe.

A year later we moved back to the states, but we came back in 1969. My dad was stationed in London during those years, and we lived in the "suburbs" of Ruislip and Hillingdon.

Been in many countries in Europe and everyplace I visited would have been better IF they just had Americans living there.

Worst was Italy. Best was Lithuania. [IMG]

No "slam" intended at the eclectic blend of BB members from Europe. (Most are from Scotland anyway, so they won't know what I'm talking about).
