The Quakers say that every meal can be a communion between a believer and Christ. What do Baptists here say about this?

    Apparently, not much.

But I think the idea has some merit. We've certainly lost much of the symbolism of communion by eating individualized crackers and our own personal tiny cups of juice.

    In Christ,

You know my opinion. Since the only NT examples of communion are to an organized local church (not my infamous Coffee Klatch) then the OFFICIAL communion would be in a church body setting.

But love the sentiment of communing with God over EVERY meal. Sure beats the little ditty prayer I usually give.
