Is evil opposed to good or is evil inferior to good?
What do you think?
I've been watching a lecture on Augustine and the professor said there were two schools of philosophy/theology. One believed that evil was opposed to good, the other that evil is inferior to good.
I'm thinking about this. It is a new thought for me. I could argue either, or that evil is both.
What do you say?
Romans 12:21: "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."
I think we can clearly see that good is superior to evil and that they are opposed to one another.
