A New York Times/CBS News poll released Saturday that showed broad bipartisan support for President Obama’s health care reform, over-sampled Obama voters compared to McCain voters, critics say.

Yep, that poll was cooked, just like the earlier NBC/WSJ one. I first read about it on Hot Air

What can you say? They know they're in for the critical battle, so they're churning up their propoganda machines.

Obama, Obama supporters, the news media, and any others who support Obama's health care plan.

It's rather obvious is it not?

People who would be less than honest in putting a poll together.

I can think of lots of things to call them, more descriptive and colorful than "they."

"They" should stop while "they" are ahead.

SO all of these are responsible for the NYT poll? Any supporter of the President's plan is a liar? Wow, I have seen some broad brushes used, but that one can paint the side of a barn with one stroke!

To put into context for you - the sentence which contained the word "they" which prompted your question as to who "they" are was "They know they're in for the critical battle, so they're churning up their propoganda machines. "

I see no use of the word "liar" in that sentence.

It does not say that "they" are responsible for the NYT poll.

In my reading the sentence says that "they" - meaning the Obama supporters - will be using all of the propoganda tools at their disposal to push Obama's plan.

You are to be congratulated for doing your part in that effort here on this board.

You know, I think ANY poll which shows results against the "American Way of Life" is a lie. All these polls are actually conducted by the Communist, Fascist, God hating liberals. Right?

    Two comments...

    1. The Republican party was fragmented this last election so when you say voted for McCain vs voted for Obama one must remember some Republican's voted for Obama and there were other GOP candidates who took votes from McCain. Rev is a good example.

    2. The same poll found 50% of those who acknowledged themselves as Republican wanted the public option. This is not the ones who voted for McCain, these are people who said there were Republican.
