Ex-Texan Charged with Aiding Al-Qaeda

"Maldonado was captured by the Kenyan military on Jan. 21 as he fled Ethiopian and Somali forces. He was expelled by Kenya and turned over to U.S. officials for his return to Houston."

The Kenyans should have returned him to Samalian authorities.

Why would we want him?

 

Whether we want him or not, he's ours, an American citizen.

The aclu will want him out on $10,000 bond next week.

The Somalians would most likely have shot him. He deserves it.

 

My dad was one - lost his accent before he left Lubbock for the Great White North (Canada, geologist for an oil company).

Still a citizen and entitled to due process.

Bogus allegation there, carpro, unless his civil rights are violated and he is denied a fair trial.

Shoot first, ask questions later?

 

He is an American citizen and we need to bring him home. We need also to ensure the soveriegn justice of that country is addressed. If he has commited a crime in that country he should answer for it.

 

I have little patience for those who take up arms to fight for our mortal enemies.
