    What makes you think the United States is a Christian nation? It doesn't make that claim in the constitution.

You are correct sir, however, polls taken, would disagree with your stance, in that when it comes to what Americans think they are when questioned as to their religion or beliefs, 77% still hold to the idea that America is a Christian nation!     Even though our forefathers didn't identify this nation as being Christian, it shure used Scripture and Christian ideals when writing the Constituion and setting up the nation and how it would operate! (http://www.forerunner.com/forerunner/x0192_america_-_a_christia.html)

    There is a prevailing sense among Americans, that we are a Christian nation! Your right to disagree is, well, YOUR RIGHT! Shalom!

    My mom taught me a important lesson years ago....that thinking you know something (ie your own perception of any situation) doesn't necessarily mean you actually know it. :)
