Exo 29:20 "Then shalt thou kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about."

Why the blood on the thumb, toe and ear. I could see the ear being a refrence back to Exo 21:6

"Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him forever. "

They would serve God forever, so they would put blood on the ear instead of putting a hole in it, but that wouldn't explain the thumb and toe.

    Any ideas?

It was the blood of another in his place?

    Thumb , Toe.
Dedicated to God for His service?
Thumb - has to do with my hands - what I do?
Toe - Has to do with my walk - where I go?

    Warm Christian greetings!

Maybe it means complete consecration - from Head to Foot.

    Just a thought,

    Kind regards,
