(Rom 5:1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
--The above verse needs no interpretation.
It is salvation by faith, and it is not of works is it?

That is one of the best questions I have ever seen asked on here. I guess he doesn't invite the lost to his church? It would be fruitless to do so in his book.

If you believe that you are Justified before God because you believed, for that is what Faith means, believing, then yes you base your Justification on something you did, that is works ! I have already proven that !

You are calling faith a work! If faith were a work, then Paul would never make a distinction between faith and works. See Ephesians 2:8.

I ask you, is repenting a work? If you are sorry that you were a thief, or an adulterer, is that a work to you? Do you know that that is not a work! A work is circumcision, various ceremony washings, external regulations, observance of Sabbaths and festivals, gifts and sacrifices. I can hardly believe that you believe it is a work to be sorry for your sins.

    I simply quoted the Bible--Romans 5:1
You simply denied the Bible--Romans 5:1

Do you have a good reason for that?

Luther didn't. That is why he left the RCC, after having tried to reform it, and became a Protestant, protesting against what you are promoting.
    He called it "sola fide."

I believe the bible, but I do not believe you. If you are teaching that man is Justified because of something he did, which Rom 5:1 does not say, then you believe contrary to the bible, for a man is saved by Grace apart from works Rom 11:6

6And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

(Rom 5:1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

You have no explanation for Romans 5:1 except to say: "I don't believe it."
Why do you deny the Bible?

I believe that. Its your teaching that a man is Justified before God because of his believing, something he does that is issue here.

Rom 5:1 does not teach salvation by what man does !

    What about Rom 5:1 ?

    Rom 5:1

1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

This scripture, much like John 3:16 has been so misunderstood and perverted by false teachers and believers, that it must be treated to discover the Truth of what Paul is saying. It can be certain that what Paul is not saying here, is that man is Justified before God because of his act of faith or believing, for that would be Antichrist Christ, and against the accomplishments of Christ work, which only Justifies anyone before God.

Now, the verse starts out by the word Therefore which logically takes us back to what has just been treated upon to find the connection. That would be Rom 4:25 where the word Justified has just been mentioned prior Rom 4:25

25Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

The word Justification in Rom 4:25 is the greek word dikaiōsis and it means:

the act of God declaring men free from guilt and acceptable to him

    2) abjuring to be righteous, justification

It is used Twice in scripture once here and the other in Rom 5:18

18Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

In both cases Justification is declared based upon what Christ has done or accomplished.

Because of His Righteousness [ His whole obedience to the cross] the free gift came upon [not offered] all for whom He represented.

And His resurrection declared all for whom He bare their offences, as Justified, or He was raised again because of their Justification. The resurrection proved that God had declared them free from guilt and accepted of Him based upon the satisfied Justice upon their Surety who had their sins imputed to His Charge to pay the penalty for which was death.

Whats in view here therefore is Christ's Faithfulness to the Covenant engagement that rendered Him subject to the death of the cross for the sins of God's chosen People.

And because He has finished that work, all for whom He died are Justified out of His Faithfulness or Faith and have Peace with God by His cross. Col 1:20

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

So Rom 5:1 begins with that though in mind Rom 5:1

1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Now was the peace with God established by man's act of Faith or by the blood of His cross as stated in Col 1:20 ?

The Peace with God is by the blood of His Cross, which was the result of His obedience of Faithfulness to the Cross Phil 2:8

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Now in Heb 12 we see the connection of Christ's obedience to the cross being related to His own Faith or Faithfulness Heb 12:1-2

1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The word author here is the greek word archēgos and means:

one that takes the lead in any thing and thus affords an example, a predecessor in a matter, pioneer

He took the lead in Faitfulness, which lead to the cross, which established Peace with God.

So now if we look at Rom 5:1 it says " therefore being Justified by Faith , we have Peace with God !

Now whose Faith or Faithfulness obtains Peace with God ? Col 1:20 Its Christ Faithfulness to the Cross !

Also Paul says in Rom 5:1 being Justified by Faith. The prep by here is the greek word ek and means:

out of, from, by, away from

Now it is out of Christ Faith or faithfulness those who Christ died for have peace with God, not out of their own faith or faithfulness !!

But that is what most in religion believe and Teach of this verse, that they have peace with God because of or out of their faith or faithfulness. That is completely wrong and dishonoring to the One who should receive the Glory for all those He died for having Peace with God. So its by Christ's Faithfulness or Faith that we have Peace with God, if we be of His Elect !

You have gone in a big round-a-bout circle just to say what the verse doesn't say. It says very simply:

(Rom 5:1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

It does not say "being justified by the faith of Christ..."
That is heresy. We must put our faith in Christ. Salvation is a gift; the gift of God. But that gift must be received; if it is not received it is not a gift. Thus it is received by faith, our faith. It is such a simple teaching but you are not willing to accept it. You will go in a big circle just to deny what the Bible so simply says in one short verse.

That right it does not say what you understand it to say, because if it did, that is salvation or Justification by mans works ! Now if you take time to read the post you see what it means..

I read your post, and the Scripture taken out of context.
I rather trust the Bible. It is much more reliable.

(Rom 5:1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
