This thread is fits nicely with the Communist Goals Done thread. Only in Amerika can a family be considered guilty before proven innocent and have their children removed from them.

A class suit against these agencies would probably be in order ?

Christ told us not to fear man, but if there was a man I'd fear, it would be the visiting CPS man.

Even if the allegations are proved false, you have difficulty getting your kids back.

Back when I lived in Tennessee, there was a child care worker who reported suspicious looking spots on a child. She thought they were cigarette burns. They called these guys (I think Department of Children's Services there, but same thing), and they promptly came in and took the kid to the doctor. The doctor examined the kid, pronounced that they were simply mosquito bites, but the kid was terribly allergic so they swelled up and turned raw.

However, "just to be on the safe side", they put the kid into a foster home for 3 days, and the only way the parents had any idea what was up is that the doctor broke the law and told them.

And then on the flip side, you have cases where Case Workers don't report repeated indications of rape, molestation, abuse...and the powers-that-be don't do anything til they have to go get the body and take it to the morgue. Sickening.

Those are often the instances where they already have the child in the system, just goes to show where their priorities truly lie.

Heck, I'd probably do the same thing, law or no law.
    Those are their kids.

I agree completely, and I would do the same thing, and not repent of breaking this unjust law.

    the site says:
If it was written in 2006, it isn't current.
If it isn't printed until 12 days from now
    it isn't current.

Ed, welcome to the new world of electronic publishing.

I work with a secular e-zine. Just some thoughts, TNA could have bought the article and gained the copy right in 2006. Most pubs are on a six month plus lead time. Further, the 7/23 date is probably the "news stand" date.

Further the OP quoted an appropriate amount of the article. The length of the quote is within the fair use doctrine.

Now do you have any substantive remarks to make?

This flip side you speak of was addressed by the attorney who wrote this article. Many times the abuse you speak of is by "foster" homes. Not always; but MANY MANY times. This is why the abuse is so often unreported.

$$$$$$$$$$$ ka-ching! Federal bucks for a pitifully inept system. Thank you very much to the architects of the "Great Society" AKA Communist Amerika.

I believe that the 2006 figure refers to the site, and the copyrighted names of it, not the article, itself.

But printing it 12 days before it is written is quite a feat, I'll agree!

Since we make a big deal about not violating copy rights here on the Board, no.

Not necessarily most of the time. Sometimes or occasionally, yes.
