Fantasy Baseball League

    I have set up a fantasy baseball league at http://fantasysports.yahoo.com.

    The ID# is 110890 and the password is homerun. I have set it up with an autodraft. There is room for 10 teams. The name of the league is Biblical Sluggers.

    Come join and let's have some fun during baseball season.

    Wallygator, the team owners in this league must stay off of steroids during the season, except for medicinal purposes. ;)

    One of my Shelties has occasionally taken steriods for a genetic skin problem she has. No wonder she hangs around the Bowflex. [​IMG]

    Autodraft means you rate the players and the computer will select the players for you on draft day...the highest rated player on your list that is available will go to you.
    Example...you top 5 players in order are: Sosa, Giambi, Maddux, Bonds, Glavine and you are the 3rd pick in the draft. Who ever is the highest rated player avaiable for you will go to your team.
    The draft goes by rating and not position, so you need to think ahead as you rank your players.

    An autopick draft is where Yahoo drafts your teams players based on a set of prerankings that you list for your team. For example, if you consider A-Rod to be the best fantasy pick, then you would rank him #1, and so on. Then when it is your turn to pick Yahoo selects the player ranked highest on your rankings.

    There are 8 position player plus 2 utility positions. There are 10 pitchers. There are 5 bench positions. A total of 25 players.

    Rookiepastor...you've never played fantasy baseball before, huh? Well it's quite simple.
    When you rank your players, remember it's in reverse order...the players you least likely want on your team need to be ranked with the lower numbers.
    And then when the games start, think of it like golf...low score wins.
    You get all that? ROFL!
