Which is your favorite?
As a single man...or now as a married one?
I chose the Skippers Little Buddy. That guy was a nut and messed up every rescue attempted in the history of mankind. He made sure there was a show next week.
Growing up, I secretly wished the head hunters would put them out of their misery!!! warped I know!
Then I heard the Kentucky Head Hunters sing, and I wish someone would put THEM our of their misery!!!!
I would turn on the re-run just to hear the theme and then turn to something else. That is why I said other. The song was my "favorite character.
Hate the show! Wish it never was created and now the song is stuck in my head. :BangHead:
As a child I enjoyed watching Gilligans Island. I liked Mary Ann the most because she was more like an everyday person. I never thought anyone but me would pick her as there favorite so I was shocked to see she had the most votes.
Let me know if you forget any of the words...
Now sit right back and you'll hear a tale
a tale of a faithful trip
That started from this tropic port aboard this tiny ship.
The first mate was a mighty sailor man
EDIT: to correct spelling
The skipper brave and sure
Agree completely. She is the only one who is always competent, sharing, honest (with one exception I recall) and forthright, and almost always level-headed.
Gilligan is a bumbling klutz.
Skipper is resourceful, but he often lacks common sense and even believes in voodoo.
Mr. Howell is a worshipper of money (once he even calls someone who says "Bah-- money!" an "atheist").
Mrs. Howell is a worshipper of society and is annoyingly stupid about simple things.
Ginger is a vain stuck-on-herself ...[the word would be censored]
The Professor is a super-genius about science that exists only in the G's I world, and if he was worth anything he would have gotten them rescued.
I understand. That show and song barf puke
Hey. The Professor took the bull by the horns. Which is more then I can say for some men.
What do you mean by that? That he made a bomb to explode in a tunnel and 'blew out' the volcano?
Five passengers that sailed that day.
I always liked Mary Ann. She seemed like the normal one of the bunch.
Five passengers set sail that day for a 3 hour tour,
A 3 hour tour
Well, that's when;
The weather started getting rough
The mighty ship was tossed.
