    Many parables, earthly stories with heavenly meanings, of our lord, Jesus Christ, are recorded in the Gospel. Which one is the most meaningful to you?

    I'LL START:

    "Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner". I can relate to the publican, although there are lots of days the pharisee still comes out. :rolleyes:

    The Prodigal Son.

    I have been the prodigal son (I have been backslidden).

    I have been his brother (I have been selfish and envious).

    I have been his father (I have waited patiently for my child to come home).
