What is your favorite sport to watch (live or on TV)? You may vote for up to three sports...

Hi, Eric. Having not been reared with sports,I
really never got into them; hence, my "I don't
like sports," mixed with minor and major league
    baseball.

My husband loves to watch the Mariners, but
I get VERY tired of hearing it. That is the MAIN
reason for the TVs in the kitchen and bedroom
--to escape both the sight and sound. But I
enjoy going to see an occasional minor league
game, especially if Minnesota is playing.

I have different sports I like to watch, depending on whether or no it's live. For some, it doesn't matter, but I'm not much for televised basketball -- I like to be there. Yet I don't like going to football games - I'd rather watch that on telly. Weird, I know.

I'm also a girly-girl, and like to watch figure skating and gymnastics, and I prefer men's over women's in both. I also love watching speed skating and some of the other winter sports made so much more popular in the Salt Lake Olympics.

    Sing with me!

"Oh, the good old hockey game,
is the best game you can name.

And the best gane you can name,
is the good old hockey game!!"

    Thank you Stompin' Tom!

    "Hello there!
    We're on the air!
    It's hockey night tonight..."

    I love that song :)

NHL was one of my choices, too... along with Major League Baseball and the NFL.

    Woohoo! Go 'Canes!

I know some folks who will sit and watch a game, just because it is NHL or NFL or MLB. I am usualy only able to watch a game that features a team I like a lot.

Like Stubbornkelly, I like the Olympics, and follow several events. I paticularly like figure skating, skiing, and gymnastics. As to hockey, I love going to college games.

My favorite sports/sporting events are international soccer (World Cup), Olympics and Formula-1. These also happen to be the 3 most popular sports/sporting events in the world.

I also watch some Major League Soccer matches and the NBA playoffs.

The Bible says we should watch Baseball. I'll demonstrate:

Why else would he allow a team to be named the "Angels"? The angels are now tied in first in their division, 7 games ahead of last years leader, the Seattle Mariners.

Why are the Mariners losing the the Angels? In the book of Jonah, it clearly reads: "The Mariners were afraid"

    ;)

I like to watch baseball, nascar and hockey, but what I like alot....which may or may not be considered a "sport" is figure skating. I am a girl, come on, I can't like all manly sports!

I voted other. Pool/Billiards is what I love to play and watch, both men's and women's. I'm not familiar with the players though.
Because no player ever stays on top of this game for long.
    It's like the wild west.
Somebody who shoots better is bound to come along real soon.
The shots, though, no matter who's shooting...they're something else.

Being a cabbie and a revhead (redundant? [IMG] ) I had to give a vote to motor-sports. However I give a bigger vote to 1 Timothy 4:8 [IMG]

When it's done in an ally it's a crime, when it's done in a ring it's a sport...

Personally, I'll always think of it as just two guys hitting each other. Even the version in the ring sounds like a mugging because they're fighting over a purse...

LOL! You do have a point...maybe I'll consider watching men with clubs hit round things and then run in circles while being cheered on by people who just paid $4.00 for a withered hot dog when they could have had a dozen for less! [IMG]
    Hehehe. :D
