I hope that we can agree to pray for the author. Whatever you think about CT or the movie/book, this is a man who obviously does not know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

Is going to stay this way for some time now thanks to the forerunners H.P. and T.L.O.T.R. and Shrek. One the one hand from what I've seen on the trailer ads God appears to be female, so I don't see how Christian youth could watch this and leave believing that is how the GOd of the Bible really is...However I've concluded my personal past has marred my expeirencing any movies or anything else in real life or not so after this thread I'm going to adhere to my thoughts of sucide more seriously

    Well...

It's sad that he lost his father at such a young age.

    But...blaming God is a cop-out.
There's never justification for blaming God.

Also, it's better to be a parent that shelters your child. That's another cop-out by liberals that like to tell you your child will go after the "forbidden" whatever it is, if you "shelter" them.

It's a parents job to watch their children and limit things they do, especially if it will harm them.
The television is not a baby sitter. Remember that one. ;)

That's where you're gravely mistaken, friend. All you do will be judged as good or evil.

Then I got bigger problems than movies I've seen. I suppose we all do.

We are NOT going to be judged. Jesus already took care of that. We will either be receiving rewards or NOT receiving rewards based on our works as Christians.

Jesus died for ALL my sins. When I accepted him, my slate was cleaned.

    Hi Debbie, :wavey:

Our sins are forgiven. But our work will be judged.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

We can agree on God not excluding any part of our life when he reviews us; but why aren't we able to say that God will praise us or scorn us for any of our actions when it comes to things like this? Besides it's much more important to just go by wither or not your hurt by whatever part of culture is thrown at you and leave God's wishes for it and you aside on the matter.
