Fire Guts Daughter's Apartment

    Sunday afternoon, while my daughter as away, a fire started in her apartment, of unknown origin.
    She has lost most of her possessions and we're now looking for a new place to move. Included in the loss was some money she had put back to pay the rent.

    Just asking for prayer on her behalf and that of my granddaughter who lived with her.

    Oh gosh - I'm SO glad she wasn't there but I'm so sorry she lost everything! I'm praying that she can find a new place quickly and can get her life back in order. Did she have renters insurance?

    Thank all of you for your prayers. No, there was no insurance. But God is providing.

    Oh dear!
    How terrific, but also thankful to know that your daughter and granddaughter were not harmed physically from the fire!
    Praying that God will provide all of her needs!
    So glad to hear that God is providing!
    HE is so faithful!!

    Bro. James, you are very kind to do this. The Lord is providing, but I don't wish to quench any move of the Spirit on my BB brothers and sisters about this.

    Let's do it this way. If anyone feels led to help, please PM me and I will give you the mailing address.

    I confess to some discomfort about this. While her need is great, we are trusting in God, and our church has been very helpful. I beg of you, unless God moves on you in this direction, don't feel any pressure or obligation.
