O'bama has produced a budget of almost $4 trillion, that is $4,000,000,000,000. It is my belief that his goal is to bankrupt the country and then move to Socialism. Perhaps that is what the Civilian Security Force will be used for.

There is no doubt that O'bama is a socialist and is already moving the country in that direction. That has been the goal of some democrat/leftists since the days of FDR.

Not surprised at all Ken. But if this happens the same prediction you made about O'bama's ineligibility to be president will take place.

I would expect more concern from certain on this Forum concerning the OP. Surely KenH is not the only Socialist on this Forum and I am not the only believer in Free Enterprise. It is certain that the "sky is falling" remarks of O'bama have resulted in a sharp drop in the stock market and perhaps unnecessary concern among the workers.

Just today we saw the nationalization of Citi Bank, and yet no concern?

I personally believe that the big "0" is God's punishment on the USA for her drifting away from her roots; just like He judged Israel.

Some of us see what is happening, but know that only the DIRECT INTERVENTION of God Himself will avert this impending disaster. Those like the worshipful adorers see nothing but Utopia in the future by his worshipfullness' actions.

The Citibank situation is just the beginning, and it will be interesting to see how long the delusional masses will allow themselves to be led astray by this silver-tongued socialist.

'Course some will never admit their folly, even as they see their retirement, college savings, CDs, Mutual Funds, etc. dry up, OR become worthless due to inflation.

Sorry that it disappoints you if I'm not getting all hot and bothered by the OP.

I agree with it. I see that others, instead of sincere consideration and discussing their pov, instead continue to stand definately on ground which they will not discuss to make anyone think that it is anything but nothing. Until they figure out how to discuss the ground on which they stand they add nothing to the discussion and there is nothing for me to contest...... except their own personality and my dislike for their lack of substance in presenting no viewpoint. Since I can't discuss something with nothing..... why bother? Its a waste of my intellectual, emotional energies and time, and its utterly futile to try and change nothing into something. So let nothing figure out why something is important and present it or there is nothing more to be said.

(I agree with OR and JWP)

More spending has been a terrible trend for quite some time. Obama is not the first to do this. Under Bush the budget increased from $2.0 trillion (what he submitted in 2001) to $3.10 trillion (what he submitted in 2008). There wasn't a single year that Bush's budget didn't go up. Even worse, the US Debt basically doubled under Bush (in 2000 it was 5.674 trillion and in 2008 it was 10.6998 trillion). The same sort of trends happened under Clinton.

Is Obama raising the budget purposely to bankrupt the country? No he's not. I'd say you'd have to be an ignorant conspiracy theorist to believe that. He's just acting like every president before him.

Obama is too late. Bush has already bankrupted the country with most of the money spent going to other countries.

    Another 'nothing' comment!

nothing about why you glorify socialism!
nothing about why you think it is better!
nothing about how you define it!
nothing about nothing to show that you even have a viewpoint of looking at both sides of a coin before you set your edge!

Just another nothing stating nothing about nothing!

    Vacancy!
    Emptiness!

    Just like a cipher!

    Nothing!

Sadly you are correct about Bush. However, he was aided by a spendthrift Republican Congress who spent like drunken democrats.

Don't know where you got that crazy idea. A lot of money went from America to other countries but it was not Federal Government money it was from business.

That was Bush's objective except instead of socialism his objective was fascism.

The US government was borrowing up to 1 billon a week and that was coming from foreigh countries. The largest lender was China.

Very true. The republicans in congress were not very conservative and certainly Bush wasn't. If he was he'd have used that veto power much more often!

It appears Crabtownboy that your two statements are in total conflict. You obviously have a problem!
