How much is considered "letting a guy pursue" and asking out for dates and first dates, and how much is considered the girl being agressive?

Things have changed a great deal. I've heard numerous guys say that they wish more girls would be open enough to ask them out instead of the guy asking the girl. I was raised that I was not allowed to call a guy but he could call me, of course that changed a few years into my teenage years but some guys do like a girl to be one asking and other guys I've known like to do the persuing.

Calling a gentlemen on the phone, or asking one out, is pursuit. My husband sought me out completely. If a woman starts getting aggresive and does any part of the pursuing, it sets a bad precident later on for marriage.

There is no satisfaction on the hunter's part if the prey walks up to him and starts chasing him!

I guess I'm a little old-fashioned and still believe in the mystique of a woman.

Oh, one more thing- while the man is the hunter, it never hurts to leave a bit of a trail! :D ;)

    Joy,

Yeah I sort of feel that way too but my husband has a different idea where that goes. He easily let me ask him out or let me call him, some guys now days get into that but I don't know ...mmmm hehehe

No neither was I. I meant when we first started dating he wanted me to call him, in fact 90% of the guys I dated wanted that too.
