This question might be kind of strange, but what kind of fish are in the Sea of Galilee that Jesus' disciples caught with their nets? Come on all of you avid fishermen... :)

I have a controversial opinion: tuna.

    Here's my reasoning for offering a salt-water fish in a fresh-water lake.

Jesus and the 12 were Baptists, right?

What's more Baptist than "Chicken of the Sea?"

From our message in church today, we were going over John 21 where the disciples were fishing after Jesus rose from the dead, and He told them to cast their nets over the right side. The NASB states there were 150 fish, and I was curious what kind of fish they were. Peter pulled the net ashore that normally took six men, and I was trying to figure out about how much the net might have weighed.

What I want to know is whether they had white wine or red wine with their fish.

They grow up to eighteen inches and five pounds! Peter lugged ashore about 750 lbs. of fish, not including the wet net. Talk about adrenaline when he saw the Lord, put on his outer garment, swam to shore, and heaved in the net. Think he was excited?

Brother Bob, can I field this question? ....

They had no wine, neither fermented or nonfermented..... Jesus said so himself....

    Matthew 26:29
    (29) But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

They were not in the Father's Kingdom yet....

Adrenaline will do some wonderful things... But that shouldn't be so amazing.. after all when I see him coming in the air for me, even gravity won't hold me back!!!
