I love Christmas and also Advent which has the delicious sense of expectation...

I go to Christmas carols and rosary prior to midnight Mass which is very moving.....and we CLANG out the bells then as well....

Christmas lunch is always a challenge....I adore seafood and tend to peel about a kg of prawns after mass before going to bed...because it is messy and smelly....I don't want prawn smelling hands at lunch!!!!!

Also I try to go to a concert of the Messiah by Handel each year because it is fabulous...the local choir did a flash thing at the local mall as an advertising gimmik. The tickets are not dear and kids are free.Anyone would think they are trying to recruit youngsters to the joy of classical music.
