    NIV -- 4%

    CEV -- 4%

    NRSV -- 9%

    ESV -- 22%

    NASB -- 61%

    I viewed the results of poll today -- 3/2/04.

    Interestingly, most Christian bookstores sold the NIV, but this BB voters prefers NASB because of its superiority over the NIV. How strange! :confused:

    I don't consider that "strange," Asskjo. Many NIV's are sold by reputation and/or what's on their covers. They are marketed as "Women's Devotional Bible," "Men's Devotional Bible," "Youth Study Bible," et al, and with many types of covers and bindings. These things are true of other translations also, but when NIV sales took off since it's early publications, Zondervan really had some marketing minds at work to continue the rise in sales.
