Featured For my mom

Please pray for my 90-year-old mother. The doctor found two lumps near her breast today; she's going for a mammogram and ultrasound Thursday. She's been through a lot with her health already.

My sister called and said the doctor told them that the lumps looked suspicious. My mom has to go for a biopsy.

Please continue to pray for her healing. At her age, if she has to have surgery, I don't know how that might go. But I'm believing and praying for the best and for her healing.

Took my mom for a biopsy Tuesday. It's more hurry up and wait, as it will take one week to get the results. I'll take her back next Tuesday.

My mother goes for her biopsy result today. Please pray for her, and us.

 

Well, my mom has breast cancer. Doc said he believe it's confined and hasn't spread but won't know for sure until they go in. He's already scheduled her for a mastectomy tomorrow morning! He said why wait.

He thinks she'll come through surgery okay; he said she was a "young 90". She got a kick out of that -- she laughed and laughed.

Doc said if it hasn't spread, she won't need chemo.

Please pray that it hasn't spread, that she'll come through surgery fine, and that she will be healed. She's afraid of being put to sleep.

My mom came through the surgery okay, but she was in a lot of pain afterward. They were giving her morphine for it.

Doc said they took out some lymph nodes to test; a couple were swollen, but he still thinks it hasn't spread. I hope and pray he's right.

Please, everyone, continue to pray for my mom. She is one of the best people I have ever known.
