As some of you may know, I Am Blessed 16 is my mother. I love my mother very much; she means the world to me. Although the following story is fictional, it is a touching story. I would like to dedicate it to my mother, who was, is, and always will be "My Angel."

Once upon a time there was a child ready to be born. One day he was talking to God and he said, “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?”

“Among the many angels, I chose one for you. She will be waiting for you and will take care of you.”

“But tell me, here in Heaven, I don’t do anything else but sing and smile. That’s enough for me to be happy.”

“Your angel will sing to you and will also smile at you every day. And you will feel your angel’s love and be happy.”

“And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me, if I don’t know the language that men talk?”

“Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.”

“And what am I going to do when I want to talk to You?”

“Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.”

“I’ve heard that on earth there are bad men. Who will protect me?”

“Your angel will defend you even if it means risking her own life.”

“But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.”

“Your angel will always talk to you about me and will teach you the way for you to come back to me, even though I will always be next to you.”

At that very moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from earth could already be heard, and the child in a hurry asked God softly, “Oh God, if I am about to leave now, please tell me my angel’s name.”

“Your angel’s name is of no importance, you will call your angel ‘Mommy’.”

    I Love You Mom!

I just found this out too because of Sue saying happy birthday to Pastor Bob a couple of days ago. Happy birthday Pastor Bob. You are 5 months younger than I am. I love your mom as a friend. Thank you for posting this for her...she's one sweet lady.

I wonder how many other people on the B.B. are related in ways we aren't aware of.

Bob: Thank you so much for honoring me in such a way. I am seldom an angel, but I'm sure glad you think I am! My halo has slipped, even gotten rusty; but you are always there. The things I did for you when you were growing up, you now do for me...

You come along when I need you most
You hold my hand, you bring me close
You show me that tomorrow the sun will shine
And that life ain't half bad more than half the time.

You give me a hug in your gentle way
And give your support nearly every day.
Somehow, you always seem to care
Rain or shine, in spirt, you're there.

You make my life feel like a song
You help me see that I am strong,
When I feel too weak to stand alone
You tell me I am not on my own.

For all that you do for me, I am so very grateful.
And each night I find the brightest star
And thank God for giving me a son
    with such a caring heart.

    Have A Beautiful Day
    (God bless you son)

    I love you!
    Mom

Bob and Sue those were both touching words to each other to have a relationship with your Mother and with your son in that way is so precious I can tell.

    Lord,

I ask that you bless these too for they have blessed us with words of encouragement and endearment. Lord, I fully believe that you put such angels in this world to uplift us and I praise you that you have brought these two in my life in this way. Thank you Lord!

Also thank you Bob and Sue
