Echoing here... man, is their stuff substandard! (I say this as an "informed customer." I've been a big truck driver, manager of a fleet, and my dad was an auto dealer manager for 40 years (I worked for him for years).

They don't need my boycott. Perhaps if Ford built something near the quality of the Toyota/Honda, I'd buy it.

(Same for chevy, btw...I sure do hate to say that).

I could boycott every company as large as Ford. They all have some form of institutional ungodliness.

Interesting that you think you have the insight into MP's life to be able to say such things. If I were you, I would trust that MP has developed some discernment that will help him figure out what he should and should not watch.

After dealing with 3 years of problems on our 2001 Ford Lemon, aka Taurus, I won't be buying a Ford again.

Ford may very well end up going bankrupt on their own. It doesn't appear that there's enough customers, gay or straight, to save them.

    Perhaps you are right, but:
To compare Wildmon, in an unfavorable light, to the choices of 250 channels, seems disingenuous to me in the walk of a born again believer. But, as a born again believer, I know I too make many mistakes. I John 1:9-10

I'm not a big fan of Mr.Wildmon, but I greatly admire his grit in following the lead of the Holy Spirit, and the resulting ministry.

I take it that it's only a matter of time before you and yours decide to "help" him.

Btw, to see someone on the internet bashing television is hysterical! Thanks for the comic relief.

You are welcome. Gee, I'm humorous even when not trying.

Not my job to "help" him, only to point out inconsistencies. Your inference that I'd in some way facilitate some form of censorship is duly noted.
As far as television is concerned, it is a great tool in the hands of personalities with agendas.

Such as your concern about "250" channels versus 10 million + porn sites? If I were a betting man, I'd say that it's much easier to control tv than the worldwide web. So, if you can control your internet usage against millions of X rated temptations it seems more than plausible that Magnetic Poles can control his tv consumption with a scant couple hundred R rated temptations. Moats and beams, Sir, moats and beams.

(Bolding mine.) Ok.... now I'm confused. Magnetic Poles should trash a great tool?

I hereby advocate Magnetic Poles should regulate hillclimber1's media consumption. At least the former seems cognizant of his own positions.

Then have you written Disney to blast them for refusing to show Song of the South on thier own channel, and refusing to offer it for syndication or selling tapes or DVD's?

Since I drive a Ford, does that mean I support homosexuals? My next car will be a Ford. And my car after that probably. Reason: Not because I support homosexuals, but because I can get a cheap American made car thanks to me being in a Ford family.
