    I was sorry to hear Manute died today. I can't stand basketball, but I always liked him.

    Always seemed very humble and was very good to the fans.

    What is it with basketball players and kidney failure? I've heard of several of them with that problem (apparently, this is what killed Bol).

    Is it a genetic (race-based) issue/weakness? Or is it coincidental?
