    Don't necessarily take a calgon bath. I am more of a shower frog, :D (kinda like the difference in a 'bull' frog and a tree frog, "know whut I mean Vern?" yet some times I do soak in the tub when the muscles are aching.

    BTW folks, this thread has passed the 100 post-mark, and ran over page 7. So, this is a fair warning... this thread will be closed before reaching page 8 (for that is an unbiblical number). So, if you have something to say in closing, then say it qick! And if you do like the fellowship this thread has introduced to you, then we may open a similar one in the near future.

    The thing are deciphered was that you mention some translation services, and that you speak some in German as well as Spanish (if they talk to you slowly)? But I don't understand what will take place in the fall. The only sure thing I recognized was your signature... [​IMG] [​IMG]

    The passage says that I do not speak Russian at all, but that I use a good online tranlation service and that I will be teaching as a subst. teacher this fall, but once certified I will teach Secondary Ed. Social Studies, and then I liken Substitute teaching to the Navy...an adventure. I also mention that I once knew German, but had forgotten most of it, and that I can understand Spanish now, if it is spoken "at me slowly".

    Sorry. I used the online translation service Prompt's Online Translator to read your question and then to answer.

    I am only trying to translate some articles and studies for some Russian Brethren that contacted an e-mail group I belong to; They and myself were having difficulty in communicating, so I started an e-mail group that I maybe could translate the articles and paste onto the post pages so they could access them and read them as is instead of having to translate themselves. This is what I have been working on for the last two to three weeks.

    Brother Dallas, I am surprised of you! I thought that you are fluent in Russian. Well, as I said, I only remember a few words by now, although 50 years ago I was talking fluently - and not only had a passing grade at school but I mastered the reading and writing of same. But after graduating, I never used the language again, and now I have been living in the West for 47 years. So, you have to excuse me for being rusty in desciphering what you wrote. [​IMG]
