    You MUST be kidding....

Fox News...even though better in some respects than their competition (NBC,ABC,CBS,CNN,MSNBC,etc, etc) is definitely NOT fair and unbiased. Just look at the way they(as well as most all the other networks) treated Dr. Ron Paul,Tom Tancredo and others.......and 3rd party coverage....? WHAT 3rd Party coverage. They certainly don't want to give ANYONE opposed to the two "anointed" front-runners or IN FAVOR of TRUE CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT any chance to speak or means to really effectively articulate their views or party platforms. I've not heard ONE mention yet in the mainstream media of Chuck Baldwin and the CP and only a scant few about Bob Barr and the Libertarians. And Ron Paul's Freedom march in DC last weekend???? I ONLY got that from NewsWithViews.com just yesterday. Not one mention of it anywhere else that I saw. Brothers and Sisters....True Socialism IS here. They're just scared to call it what it is !!! Chuck Baldwin -- The Ron Paul Freedom March

Fox news is the National Enquirer of the news networks. Having said that I am sick unto death on how the US media stresses the "big news" of celebraties over the world issues that really affect our lives. It is like it is a plot to keep Americans minds diverted from the important issues of the day.

They are certainly not unbiased. They covered up Jesse Jackson's abominable comments and are refusing to make the tape available.

Let's not forget the F. C. C. that has removed the restrictions against acquiring large numbers of media outlets as is mentioned in the story. This kind of consolidation gives greater power to corporations like Monsanto when they threaten to pull their advertising over a story such as this. There are at least two scary things about this story. First, there is the appeals court ruling that it is not a crime to falsify news reports. That says to me that there are no restrictions on publishing the worst sort of political and corporate propaganda. Second, there are probably some journalists somewhere who knuckled under to the pressure from above or took the money and clammed up. In any case, the public is getting [technical construction term omitted].

    Amen

 CrabTownBoy...to what you said above about Fox being the National Enquirer of the news networks....you are 1000% right! I believe that they MUST have a policy that requires a certain % of "cleavage" to be shown in order to be "on the air"....I have to keep my channel changer handy to deal with their immodesty. Also...that they allow the Rev's Gassy Jackson and Al Simpleton to have so much airtime to spout their trash is incredible. I can think of few others that are less deserving of having the term "reverend" attached to their names. I will give Sharpton points for being entertaining though. Just the sound of Jackson's voice reminds me of a rake going across pavement.....yaaaaaaaaaaaarrggh.

    Here's a great example:
Bill O'Reilly seems to attack NBC (as well as their parent company, GE) on a couple of items, most notably telling us that they are doing business in Iran.

What he is not telling us:
    1. CNBC, also owned by GE, has joint ventures with DowJones, which of course has been acquired by News Corp.
    2. Fox has launched a business network to compete head to head with CNBC.

If you have not seen the documentary Outfoxed, I recommend it.

    Regards,
    BiR

Yeah, I keep trying to figure out who on earth really cares if Brittany Spears' sister had her baby yet or if Angelina Jolie had twins. Big deal. We're at war and that's all the media can talk about? Something is really wrong there.

Misdirection. The state/media prefer the consumers (subjects) to be dumbed down and very afraid. You aren't supposed to be informed you're supposed to be pliable and keep on giving your hard earned devalued fiat currency to the state and the corporations.

In other words...you are supposed be good members of the bottom 90% club and keep giving everything you earn to the top 10% club.

Never mind what's going on just keep doing your part citizen.

Agreed. I frequently find myself switching channels when the e-news type of shows come on. Even trying to eliminate the glossy's in my own home is hard. The content of these shows/magazines is so shallow as to be absolutely laughable. Society has some serious issues to deal with - environment, war, poverty, AIDS, drug and human trafficking, you name it, and instead seems to be obsessing over where we can get a copy of Paris's latest cellphone or finding inner peace, strength and beauty through OM'ing with the stars. What a sad state of affairs.
