Seems like that since you were wrong and called on it, you would at least acknowledge your mistake.

Oklahoma law requires that a person be present to help a person vote in the language the person speaks. The Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory were merged in 1907 to form the State of Oklahoma. We have lots of Indians - from census to census, we and California tie for the most Indians in the state.
In the 2004 Presidential Election there were persons present in the polling places (not every language in every precinct - you have to arrange for a person to be there who speaks the language you do BEFORE the vote. Anyway, 58 different language groups were represented in the 2004 Presidential Election. Of these 58 languages, 32 languages represent languages in which the majority of speakers live in Oklahoma.

I think the Federal Government should send money to Oklahoma so we can save these languages. Some of the Native American Languages have only a few dozen speakers , maybe only one or two extended families. Do we want those languages to go extinct by spending money teaching a bunch of Spanish?

"If they have to read the questions for a legal immigrant to get a driver's license, then they have to read the questions for them to become citizens..."

Dunnknow, argue with the Government that says they need to understand it to become a citizen.

Yes, we do have a language

Our official language is "American!" This is per a third grade student I had in my homeroom class years ago. I liked it then, and I like it NOW!

Why Should He...No One Else Does????

I called Le Buick on his comments a few days ago, and has yet to apologize. In fact, there are a multitude of people on this board that are wrong, not so much in what they say, but HOW THEY SAY IT, and never once have I received an apology for their NON-Christ like approach to arguing/debating. They just claim that they are right and their language is not offensive, just "good" debating techniques.

But, when a technique is borderlining on "Character assassination", than they owe the wronged party an apology.
