    that is the name of the site that quotes Christians

    I recieved an email where someone found this site it has me making a quote of the month last year about the mathew shepard thread. it also features other baptist board users quotes and other Christian sites message board quotes.
    even dr. bob is quoted as a radical fundy there, but sorry bob it was dr. dak that got the quote of the month on that thread.
    liberal web sites, you gotta just love them, especially how they bash us Christians.

    Oooh...I've been there. Found that out when I searched under my screen name on Google, and there I was with a quote from the BB. I think the BB is one of their target rich environments. I wear my quote as a medal of honor.

    I've been quoted there several times and so have a few other members. They tend to take our words out of context to give them some 'hateful spin'.

    I don't remember who told me, it might have been Donna, that you can search under a specific name to see if you've ever been quoted.

    I heard I got quoted once, about a year ago, I beleive I was using another name then.
    But yep, I wanna get quoted there too.

    Yeah Massdak, I got quoted for saying I would not stay at a church that had a homosexual preacher.

    Aren't I AWFUL!

    Brett, you're right! There are some horrid quotes on that that are hate filled and certainly should not be coming from Christians. The site used to be called 'Christian's Say the Darndest Things'.

    It's just sad that along with those hate-filled statements that are being made fun of are statements showing real Biblical truth!

    I know. It's an outrage! As many Christian message boards as I post on and as often as I say something stupid, you mean they can't even throw me a bone one lousy time?

    Weird.

    They quoted me on the site for a comment pulled out of the context of a discussion of separation of church and state. If they had been paying attention (and not simply trying to find quotes to make "fundamentalists" look bad), they would have realized that I support separation of church and state -- traditionally a point of common cause between historic Baptists and atheists.

    FWIW, I was quoted in Nov 2002.

Maybe I don't argue enough on the fundamentalist topics. Maybe next time Is hould argue for dresses only and haed veils. Think that will do it?
