I know we have many missionaries on this board.

I was just wondering if any of you great guys will be home on furlough in the next 18-24 months and if so- what part of the country will you be in. :1_grouphug:

Another words, would you consider accepting speaking engagements from BB members?

ps, no - I do not get any commission from any meetings! :saint:

I love summer time because at least two of our missionary families come to the states on furlough. It's great because the kids are all friends of our kids so it's fun to see them all again and hang out. I think our own Spinach is on furlough right now but other than that, I don't know anyone else from the board. I'd love to hear from any that will be though!

God willing, we will begin a furlough in May of 2011, and will begin a schedule of meetings in July. We'll be everywhere from S. Carolina to Colorado, Michigan to Florida and Texas. We're open to wherever God leads. Feel free to PM me for details, and maybe we can get to your church!

    God bless.

Joy of being a home missionary (living in my home, my sending church a couple blocks away, can travel and visit family any time, etc) is that no furlough is needed.

Now, travel to raise support WAS greatly needed but I left that in God's hands and did not do so. And He has more than supplied. God did it in ways I never would have dreamt.

Now I'm on Social Security, too, so between God and Obama, I've got no worries.

    John,

Can you list your schedule here on the board?

We've had to reschedule our furlough to probably early September. I hadn't thought of listing our schedule here, but maybe I will. :type:

That would be great - if you were within a couple hundred miles, I would love to meet you.

Probably a little late to respond, but I am probably going to be in the States during Ramadan, whenever that is this year...
